I used to hear old rumors that the 1st series was English Dub but no one ever had any proof of this. I heard some say it was shown on TV in Hawaii but in Japanese. But now I come across old books of ROBOCON like on EBay in English by PentaCon Inc. , Hawaii http://www.ebay.com/itm/Robocon-70-Book-Hawaii-English-Version-Very-Rare-/190630658451?ssPageName=ADME:X:AAQ:US:1123 So was there ever a English Dubbed version? Or maybe a sub version? Like for example, I found old reruns of BATTLE FEVER J (sub) from Hawaii TV but the ads were in English and end credits used to say in English, coming up next is the SUPER FRIENDS of all things! In other cases I have found English dubbed versions of other Japan made shows from Hawaii like for example, ULTRA 7 (Before translation seen on TNT) GAIKING (Before FORCE 5 translation) MAZINGER Z (Before TRANZOR Z translation) On other IMDB pages it mentions an International English version? But because of how it's worded I'm still somewhat unsure that they are actually saying that maybe a English Dub version was made like in maybe Asia?
