"Gilgamesh" was shot in three days inside a museum in Chicago. It's called the Mesopotamian Museum. The production was granted the key to the museum to have total freedom and flexibility with times and dates.
The Museum was closed down for public during the shoot.
All the costumes used in the movie were designed all the way from Syria. Designers, Idsala Abdulahad and Norma Zayto, designed the costumes from authentic Syrian fabric and designs. The costumes were shipped to the US and modified to fit the actors.
