Cannon Fodder (2013)

Trivia

Cannon Fodder

Edit
All in all, about 150 Litters of fake blood were used for the film's production (around 40 Gallons).
Some of the actors playing elite soldiers were, in fact, elite soldiers in the IDF: Liron Levo, Roi Miller and Emos Ayeno were all in special combat units.
The Film's soundtrack contains 6 original songs, written especially for the film, by Erez Yohanan, of the international heavy metal band "Amaseffer". In addition, there are cover versions to two of the most famous songs in Israeli pop music. These songs were recorded by many musicians from the hard rock and heavy metal scene in Israel and the Middle East, including members of Myrath, Useless ID, Orphaned Land, System Divide, The Fading, Betzefer, Hammercult and many more. All in all, around 30 musicians appear in the soundtrack, including leading actress Yafit Shalev and a guest appearance by Guns N Roses guitarist, Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal.
The shooting had an average of 30 setups a day. On additional shooting and re-shoots, the average went up to around 35 a day.
While shooting a zombie attack scene in front of a shopping center in Naharia (a town in north Israel), on a very quiet Saturday morning, an ambulance pulled by the crew and asked who got injured in a car accident.
