Edit
After the DVD release was delayed, even more footage was shot in 2014.
Was set for DVD release on August 26th 2014 from Wild Eye Releasing, but due to the visual glitches caused by how it was edited it couldn't pass the VOD standards and as a result had it's release put on hold until the film was re-edited.
Originally shot over a course of five days in 2012, the editing process took seven months. This was because the original editors dropped off the project and Director Chuck Conry had to take over. Making matters worse, he was forced to "dumb down" the HD video in order to edit it on the equipment he had to use. New scenes were also shot in 2013 before the film was premiered almost a year to the day originally shooting wrapped a year later.
An early version of the script had the film titled "Gluttony" with the killer wearing a pig mask. This was changed when Director Chuck Conry, also a film reviewer, saw Eamon Hardiman's Porkchop and didn't want to be accused of ripping it off. The two have since became friends.
The plot of the film takes place in Grundy County Tennessee, but only about 20% of the film is shot there with most the shooting taking place in Coffee County Tennessee in the Tullahoma area.
