Punainen Planeetta

This short film has the perfect mixture of playful takes on classical westerns and 80s drama cliches.

The use of comedic relief plays wonderfully with the suspenseful pace of the movie.

The movie was made on a very restrictive budget yet that did not impact the feel and underlying message of the movie what so ever.

The editing style brought out the best elements in the production which is partly why it made the short film so entertaining to watch.

The casting crew seemed to have the perfect chemistry and did not feel like random people were forced fill any rolls they were not comfortable with.

Even tho there where elements borrowed from popular westerns and classic 80s B-movies the movie felt original and entertaining.

Camerawork was executed perfectly (for the most part)

All and all a great experience and I hope to see a lot more from Anton.

Saw this short film at the premiere in Cinema Orion. This film really gives hope to the Finnish film industry! It was like a breath of fresh air that leaves you wanting more! It has everything - romance, action, comedy, spectacular acting, practical blood effects, music and an entertaining story! It's a diamond in the rough!

I think what touched me the most was the ending. I wont spoil it but thing happen. Also considering that the movie was made with a very very low budget! Just amazed! Even a week after the premiere I think about this film. Happens very rarely with ANY kind of movie.

They don't make movies like this anymore. Especially loved the setting in Cuba! Coming from a Fin :-D
