Director Nicholas Sailer held call backs at the University he attended in order to find the correct actress for the role of Jennifer Tesh. The role ultimately went to Katherine Drew, who sent in an audition video a week before he cast the role.
Director Nicholas Sailer had never met Mike West, the actor of the lead villain, Vince Malcolm, until they shot West's first scene.
