A sequel to Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed would have featured Sega characters in a fighting video game similar to Super Smash Brothers. The game was canceled in early production.
The game was adapted into a comic book by Archie Comics, known as Sonic Universe #45. It features Beat, AiAi, Sonic, Vyse, Eggman, Danica Patrick, and Tails, who all appeared in the game.
