For a series promising to break the harmful stereotypes attached to neighbourhoods of North Madras, most episodes of 'Label' leave you with the memory of daggers slicing through flesh and the sight of blood spewing out. You can't make an effective anti-caste or anti-drug case without showing what casteism and drug abuse do to society; so, for the same reasons one assumes, we are told of the different power-hungry factions - called Labels - that are competing with each other to get government contracts and how many of these youngsters end up being pawns to the games played by the leaders of these Labels.

The plot unfolds with intricate details, skillfully immersing the audience in a world of crime, mystery, and suspense. Jai delivers a standout performance, effortlessly portraying the complexities of his character. Tanya brings depth to her role, adding layers to the storyline with her nuanced acting.

Harishankar and Mahendran contribute significantly to the series, bringing authenticity to their characters and enhancing the overall impact of the narrative. The chemistry among the cast members is palpable, enhancing the believability of the Madras-based crime story. Dialog was excellent and background music too.

Series is well plotted and all characters have been well placed within the story. Particularly the new actor Kumar(Harishankar) and bathalam(Jasper) character has been executed mass. Series should have released one go all episodes. The script is super and well written dialogues. North madras different shade has been captured nicelly. Jai has done matured role and he has handled it nice. World has been shown in very big and looks like cinema. So they havent seen any budget in this is wat i can understand from it. Please release the other episodes every day and make this as theatre release. I am very happy.
