Originally starred Kris Aquino as Detty and Vice Garda as Bernice. Aquino backed out due to her busy schedule, and the role was given to Delas Alas. When Aquino was free again to shoot the film, Star Cinema and Viva Films included her, but with a different role.
In a fashion show scene, Roselle (Kris Aquino) says their commercial catchphrases such as "Finding True Love" (referencing San Marino Corned Tuna), "Can you experiencing the Conditioner" (referencing Pantene) and Roselle (Aquino) and Beatrice (Ai-Ai Delas Alas) says "Nasa kamay mo ang tunay ng Magic" (referencing Maggi Magic Sarap).
During a scene where Roselle gets scared by 2 horror characters Bernice hired were referenced to Sukob and Feng Shui, both of which Kris Aquino starred. In addition, Mahal, Ai Ai Delas Alas, and DJ Durano were starred in Pasukob.
