Half a year ago I found the trailer of this movie and was like "Oh my goodness... I NEED to see this!". It was a long wait. Yesterday I finally downloaded it. What can I say.. I saw it twice.
It's not a movie, it's an incredible mix of poetry, incredible people, beautiful landscapes, good foods and good wines and a feeling of freedom that stays inside you even when the movie ends.
Jason Baffa made an incredible work, he definitely made something special. I hope a lot of people will see this movie, even if they don't like surf, because this is a story about who we are and where we came from. It's the story of Chris del Moro but can be the story of all of us. A masterpiece. Definitely.

Even though I don't surf a friend told me I must see this film. Its so, so much more about family, life and taking the time to really connect with your roots. It is so beautifully shot and can't wait to get my hands on the soundtrack.
Really enjoyed how the main character not only shared his personal journeys through out Italy but really gave us an insight into Italian food, wine and culture. The film really captured the persona of Italian people and their dedication to tradition. Its exposes of a vintner, Venice waterman, sculptor, surfboard shaper, knife maker and coffee roaster make me want to book a ticket now.
Bella Vita is beautiful indeed, a must watch!
