A relative from the Siberian hinterland Mikhalych suddenly arrives at the country house of the wealthy Belyakovs family to solve his problems and save a forestry farm in the taiga, which the Moscow oligarch wants to take away from the people. Nephew Mark volunteers to help his uncle, but pursues his own benefit - he shoots a vlog and intends to make Mikhalych an Internet star.

Mark and his friend Kirill are going to shoot a vlog, but Mikhalych refuses to participate in his nephew's adventures. Then the teenagers decide to take Mikhalych to a restaurant, where he gets drunk. Volodya finds out at work that there is a big figure behind the forestry, and it will not be possible to settle the issue quickly.

Oksana wakes up from a nightmare, but the terrible dream turns out to be quite real - Mikhalych has not left anywhere and still lives in their house. Volodya tells his brother about the situation with the forestry. Mikhalych decides to figure it out on his own and attract public attention with a single picket.

The Belyakovs are preparing for Mikhalych's farewell party. In order not to embarrass herself in front of the neighbors, Oksana orders catering, a DJ and calls more guests. While Mikhalych is preparing a signature barbecue, Oksana is trying to set him up with her friend Marta, but Mikhalych takes another of her friends, Laura, into circulation.

Volodya meets with the head of the corporation, Subbotin, who unexpectedly appoints him responsible for cutting down the taiga. Mikhalych smokes fish in the gazebo at home, and Oksana finishes it completely. Mark offers a plan to save the forestry.

Mark, Kirill and Mikhalych are going to a sports club to remove dirt on Subbotin there. Everything is not going according to plan, a fight ensues between Mikhalych and Subbotin, and now Volodya and his whole family are threatened with revenge by an influential boss. The family moves into Laura's apartment, and Kirill meanwhile finds a clue on the video that can save the Belyakovs.

Volodya is arrested, Mark is expelled, Oksana's cards are blocked, and journalists are on duty near the house. Subbotin gives an interview about a corrupt employee Vladimir Belyakov. Mikhalych is being kidnapped.

Subbotin releases Mikhalych, and he returns home. Meanwhile, the nephew of Subbotin becomes the mayor of the taiga city of Sharapovo. Mark has a plan to save the forestry, which he tells Stasya and Kirill about.

Mark, Kirill and Stasya are going to the forestry. Mikhalych has gone on a binge and doesn't want to talk to anyone. Also, a new mayor arrives in Sharapovo, establishes contacts with local security forces and the administration in the restaurant.

Mark and his team proceed to rescue taiga. Mikhalych shows Oksana and Volodya the fishing farm. Meanwhile, Subbotin chastises the mayor for the fact that things are not progressing at all.

Subbotin himself is coming to Sharapovo. Mark and the team are preparing to meet with him and present him with a business idea. Subbotin gives the go-ahead for its implementation, but Mikhalych is still dissatisfied.

Mark's team is passionate about business, and Mikhalych, unable to find a place for himself, goes to the taiga, where he discovers a pit and equipment. The Subbotin's plan is revealed, and the heroes have to go on the run.
