While Nick Groff was editing the documentary, one of his many hard drives containing video footage and project save files crashed. His editing software would not load the project file. But after hours of panicking and troubleshooting, he was able to recover the files needed to complete the film.
The film won the Grand Jury Prize for "Best Documentary Feature" from the New York International Independent Film and Video Festival in 2006 and it was nominated for "Best Feature Film" at the Eerie Horror Film Festival that same year.
