Äqräb Mövsümü

We finished all episodes in just 3 days. We could've finished in one night but wanted to keep it lasting and honestly that was our best effort... We just couldn't stop watching the next episode. One of the best shows I have seen recently. Cast has done great job. I was told it was good but honestly wasn't expecting this much. One of a kind that, you will put your phone away in silent mode, in order not to be distracted while watching. Every single character has something special in it. In every episode i was thinking i found the criminal but next episode was always proving me wrong. As someone who is extremely picky about what to watch, I am 100% satisfied. I hope they do consider making the 2nd season. Also, they definitely need to work on English version soon, to bring this true gem to global audience.

Could not stop watching these series. Very exciting. Acting, filming is on very high quality. It is slow but attracts attention with its suspense. Very dark but at the same time very entertaining, detective, drama, action. The dialogues sound very natural, unlike the other Azerbaijani tv shows or series. If one of the tv show companies like netflix or amazon will purchase it, i belive it can get the fame worldwide. I will reccomend this series big time. Evey episode is more interesting than the previous, you cannot anticipate what will be next. Despite some hints, it is very hard to gather puzzle together. So need to watch all episodes.

Believe it or not, I've finished this in just one day. I just wanna focus on directing, cinematography and acting in this review, as I guess everyone already knows this is a masterpiece plot-wise. Firstly, the director - Emil Quliyev - is a living legend. He does not see any barriers that appeared because of the so-called "mentality" in Azerbaijan. The angles, the shaking of the camera in thrilling scenes, the feeling of ambiguity and vagueness in some scenes make this a masterpiece of modern-day cinema in the country. It might sound crazy, but I believe the kissing scene in the final episode, the usage of vulgar words, the openness to some real-life things that "cannot" be shown on television will serve as some kind of social validation for the other directors and screenwriters.

The whole cast did a great job, but the performance by Hikmat Rahimov and Abbas Qahramanov was just on another level.

However, it is now flawless, on the contrary, has several plot holes and editing errors. Nevertheless, the positive sides cover the flaws.

Of course, the series contains some little problems which were against naturality and logic, but after watching the whole series in one day, I have already forgotten. I am happy and satisfied and happy for watching this solid work, and as an Azerbaijani, it's grateful to see positive progress in the filmmaking sector, all the dialogues, environments even societal problems are part of us. Everyone knows the problems, and lack of quality in movies and series filmed after the 90th, and my congratulations, are to all the staff who worked with passion on this project because you guys already are the reference point for the future of this sector. Lastly, I want to thank Emil Quliyev, Azer Aydemir, and Hukmat rahimov.
