Laughable Moments but a revisit to the male petty egoism.

*** Nadanna Sambhavam Malayalam Movie Review ***

Directed by Vishnu Narayan starring Biju Menon, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Lijomol Jose, Shruti Ramachandran & Sudhi Koppa.

A housing colony of upper middle class, a new family enters there. The male of that family is very jovial, social person which attracts many women but it attracts a prickle to some males which in turn creates a tuff between them forms the story.

Biju Menon & Suraj Venjaramoodu, the lead roles had done their part very well. A red flag male characterization is well portrayed by Suraj.

His dialogues are minimal but his expression which the character lies the most had been perfectly enacted as in the movie there is are few characters which talks about his unpredictable and his strange behaviour so to convince to the audience Suraj had beautifully done.

Biju Menon's character is not a new type as he easily gets into the shoes of the role he gets.

Talking of the female characters, Lijo Mol's character who is paired opposite to Suraj, her character's is all a housewife with a disturbed family life so the anxiety, stress which she is carrying had been beautifully portrayed.

Overall, an above average yet a watchable flick.

    Comedy

Ajith-also known as Ajithettan (Suraj Venjaramoodu)-is in the midst of one of his regular drinking sessions with his close friends. The wolf pack represents different shades of entitled men, with unmistakable moralistic tendencies to pry into others' lives unnecessarily, including an undesirable online media journalist (an effective Sudhi Koppa). When someone from the group enquires about his recent holiday abroad with his family, Ajith immediately likens his wife, Dhanya (Lijomol Jose), and daughter to a heavy sack on his head, while equating the trip to the grandeur of Thrissur Pooram. Moments before this uncomfortable exchange, Dhanya's face suddenly turns dismal when Ajith takes a selfie during their daughter's birthday celebration, highlighting their dysfunctional marriage due to his indifference.

    Social Satire, Slow-burning Dark Comedy

The movie, at large, sheds light on man's insecurities, dressed in pride, out of their inability to understand their partners, the stress that women and housemakers go through and the need for open conversations about it. A social satire struck on a very different kind of note and pace throughout. A non-preachy, direct slow burner, a surprising entertainer!

Pros: Dark comedy, a different swing among narrative styles and speed, family entertainment, quirky music that reminds of you of western dark comedies.

Cons: Predictable storyline, poor screen tones and colours in between, and while music is strong in many areas, it also falls below par in some.

    Misunderstandings and Morality

The film Nadanna Sambhavam is a cinematic work belonging to the family drama genre, which was directed by Vishnu Narayan.

The narrative is concerned with the depiction of a residential area and a number of families residing within it. Shree Kumar Unni is a marine engineer who recently relocated to this residential area with his family. The subject's familial environment is characterised by a high degree of harmony, with her relationships with her family members being notably stable and positive. It is evident that the subject rapidly established rapport with individuals. He rapidly amassed a significant number of female acquaintances in the local area. Ajith is a businessman and resides in close proximity to Shree Kumar Unni. The family dynamic of Ajith is characterised by a certain degree of discord. Nevertheless, he is in possession of a reliable cohort of individuals in the local area. The male populace of the area took umbrage at the friendship that Shree Kumar Unni enjoyed with women. However, there was a misinterpretation of his intentions. The validity of these assumptions is further reinforced by certain incidents. Following the incident in which Unni permitted a sales representative to use the lavatory in his residence, Ajith misinterpreted his actions and proceeded to physically assault him. The video has been disseminated via WhatsApp, to a group of individuals. The content of the video appears to depict an encounter between Unni and a female companion. Unni registered a complaint against Ajith. The reasons for Ajith's actions, which included the sales associate and engaging in discourse with Ajith's wife, are as follows. In the course of his conversation with Ajith's wife, Unni proffered a number of solutions to the mental distress with which she was afflicted. Subsequently, law enforcement officials came to the conclusion that Unni was undoubtedly not culpable, and that the issue derived from Ajith's misapprehension. Subsequently, Unni opted to retract the aforementioned complaint. Upon returning home, Ajith proceeded to physically assault his wife, citing her failure to lodge a complaint against Unni as the rationale for this action. Unni intervenes in the situation and physically assaults Ajith as a form of retribution. The narrative appears to be indicative of a conventional misunderstanding that could conceivably occur within our geographical locale.

The narrative was of adequate and direction was excellent. The performances are of a commendable standard. Musical scores are notable. This is a valuable resource for individuals who wish to watch the film once.

Enjoyable flick- Suraj-Biju Menon combination has worked out well

It was a laughter-packed delight for me. The movie clearly depicts the insecurities of the so- called successful men in our society. Suraj and Biju Menon- what a great combo. The lady actors - Lijomol and Shruti also deserves applause.

It's a small movie with a simple story, but I think the director executed it well. The production design was also very fitting for the film. I also enjoyed Sudhi Koppa's role in the movie and he has performed well in this role.

Suraj is rocking all the roles he is getting and his subtle mannerisms in the movie was just superb. I can't believe this is the same man who delivered those legendary comedy scenes fifteen years ago.

    Give it a go..
