Literally the best episode I have seen, not just great in movies or TV series but a total natural at presenting ! The sketches were hilarious the best that's ever been written. The acting and introductions are flawless, everything flows well. I don't know how the cast got through this episode, my ribs and stomach muscles have yet to recover. It's a must see for everyone and anyone who is a fan of the show. Pedro with his good looks, addictive smile, gorgeous eyes and a voice that's so smooth will draw you in for an entertaining delight, he was the main in this show and he truly was superb and the rest of the cast were just as good, did I mention the writing, that was totally amazing, the characters they created was outstanding, don't take my word for it, go watch it.
Seriously, this is the way it's done! Easily the best SNL episode I've seen in five years. Pedro knocked it out of the park and was absolutely hysterical! Anyone who gives this a one star rating is delirious and doesn't need to be writing reviews. What I found great about this one was that Pedro acted in the vast majority of the skits as opposed to previous hosts of late who seem to just want to host and not entertain. Coldplay was fantastic as always! I honestly could not have asked for a better performance from the cast, they were phenomenal. My wife and I always get a kick out of watching the cast members break character in bursts of laughter at their own lines and spoiler alert, this episode is loaded with those moments. Enjoy this one!
Yeah, they really went there. The sketch about the rude waiters at the Italian restaurant which oddly enough featured jumbo-sized bowls of chili on the menu was a junior high school play on steroids (or dare I say crack?) and even old Kenan made an appearance in a politically incorrect Chef Boyardee hat.
The waiters had some sort of conspiracy theory about snubbing one individual gal in a party of ladies to motivate the other women to leave bigger tips because they were flattered by the extra attention. The premise of the joke was way to complicated and the bit fell flat.
I applaud Kenan, as the senior cast member, for attempting to do a stereotypical Italian accent. Alas, it was all pretty lame.
An Asian restaurant skit with some stir fry, wok, rice, noodle or chopsticks jokes would have been more entertaining.
My hopes were high that a food fight would break out involving chili but it never happened.
