Fart jokes and puppetry
It has been years since the Domonico debacle the evil satanist cultist marriage counselor who terrorized couples searching for help now with the house being abandon a sleazy no talent filmmaker trying to save his career decides to move in with his cast of terrible actors and crew to make a horror film only problem an evil sentient homicidal turkey puppet from the depths of hell is here to turn their indie movie star fantasies into plucking nightmare.
Again, this is a film with a fun premise and idea that is wasted. Much with the brand of slapping the Amityville title on this film feels like that lazily slapped together with minimum effort and low brow crass humor that never raises from farts and D! CKS. It is terrible meta indie movie comedy about making a terrible horror movie that so happens to be a killer turkey killing off the cast one by one and not all that thrilling.
This film is a knock of THANKSKILLING if anything this make Thankskilling even better it highlights how wrong Thankskilling could have been. I will defend Thankskilling that is a hill I will die on.

Mario Bava fever dream
I have to give it credit for at least setting the story in Amityville, but this comes across like throwing a handful of darts at once and seeing if any of them hit the board. Erica Dyer as horned up producer Ivy shines, you can tell she's having fun with the goofy material. This one feels like it's 30 minutes too long, and seems to never end as several more scenes play out after the end credits. Bizarre lighting scheme throughout gives it the feel of a Mario Bava fever dream.
It has it moments.
An Indie film is being shot in the former home of Frank Domonico during the Thanksgiving holiday. As the crew and actors show up, they begin to disappear one by one. This film is an "Amityville" film in name only. It mixes horror and humor. Frank Jr needs to "spill his seed" before Thanksgiving is over to avoid returning to Hell.
At 94 minutes this film runs a little bit too long. There are some pretty good moments and some good laughs, especially from the Turkey! If they would have cut this down to 70-75 minutes this would have been a better film. The film does have its moments. It just starts to drag towards the middle of the film.
I enjoyed the one liners from the Turkey and the overall film, hence the 5/10 rating. It's an interesting and fun concept, but it goes on a little too long.

As bad as you would assume...
Needless to say, of course, that I had indeed never even heard about this 2024 movie titled "Amityville Turkey Day" prior to stumbling upon it by sheer luck here in 2025. And truth be told, I had absolutely no expectations to the movie, given the movie's title and cover. And in all honesty, the mere mentioning of "Amityville" in a movie is equivalent of garbage at this point; well, actually it was many years ago. But for some reason we continue coming back to inflict more self-imposed suffering upon ourselves with these movies.
A bit amazing, really, that writers Will Collazo Jr., Julie Anne Prescott and David Rodriguez collectively could manage to put together such a weak script and storyline. The movie is listed as a horror comedy, but it sort of falls short in both departments.
I was not familiar with a single actor or actress on the cast list. The acting performances were mostly okay; nothing grand or outstanding, but simply okay.
The special effects in the movie were nothing noteworthy.
In fact, the movie's cover was actually the best thing about the entire ordeal.
Would I recommend you to waste 94 minutes of your life on watching this movie? No, not even remotely. Some of us suffered through this movie, so you don't have to; you're quite welcome.
My rating of directors Will Collazo Jr. And Julie Anne Prescott's 2024 movie "Amityville Turkey Day" lands on a very, very generous two out of ten stars.

One of the worsts
This one is about a guy who decides to create an 'Amityville movie' based off the events of Amityville Thanksgiving- very Amityville Inception-like. There's also an annoying killer turkey who talks like he's halfway through taking a dump, and who's mouth doesn't synchronise well with the words he says.
