The film was originally written as "The Groom" with only those elements. It was suggested that this film could be used for marriage groups, so the bride elements were written and the film was re-worked into "The Bride & The Groom".
Danielle Bounds has since gone on to participate in several pageants -- winning Miss Earth USA 2010.
