The jack in The box series starts off slow but has very gripping intense scenes throughout the films the first jack in the box film came out in 2019 the second came out in 2022 and finally the third came out 2024. This film is a bit cheesy sure but it's also so good in plot that you don't even worry about how bad it is in the cheesiness standard. So don't hate on this movie if you never seen the other ones after all I'm getting a bit tired to keep going on myself but Stephen king quoted "master of spine tingling suspense" and the film started out in a festival atmosphere where people gathered to see the original.
"The Jack in the Box Rises" delivers a spine-chilling experience that keeps you on the edge of your seat from start to finish. Set in the eerie backdrop of an exclusive girls' school, the film follows the discovery and subsequent opening of a sinister Jack-in-the-Box, unleashing a demonic force upon its unsuspecting victims.
What sets this movie apart is its unique blend of horror and suspense, coupled with a well-crafted storyline that keeps you guessing until the very end. The six brave students who find themselves facing the malevolent entity are portrayed with depth and authenticity, drawing the audience into their terrifying plight.
The director masterfully builds tension throughout the film, utilizing atmospheric cinematography and a haunting score to create an atmosphere of dread and unease. The scenes featuring the Jack-in-the-Box are particularly unsettling, as it lurks in the shadows, waiting to strike at its next victim.
Despite its supernatural elements, "The Jack in the Box Rises" also explores deeper themes of friendship, courage, and the power of overcoming one's fears. Each character is forced to confront their own inner demons as they fight for survival against the relentless onslaught of evil.
Overall, "The Jack in the Box Rises" is a must-see for horror enthusiasts looking for a fresh and thrilling take on the genre. With its captivating story, compelling characters, and heart-pounding scares, this film is sure to leave a lasting impression on audiences everywhere.

I've seen all of them, and it was definitely gory, if that's your thing. But despite having an OK, storyline, what irritated me was that the way it ended was horrible. It was a good twist, don't get me wrong, but the way it ended really kind of left me limp. But interesting to watch, if nothing else. It will leave you guessing. The special effects were OK but at the same given time, they could've been better. I'll admit it was an Indy film, and that's cool because I like indie films but this one just was missing, I don't know a certain Je ne sais quoi, if you will. But you should check it out for yourself.
As an avid viewer of indie horror, I'm often disheartened (even angry) at the poor entries I find on Tubi, Amazon etc. Not this time. The whole 'Jack in the Box' franchise has a level of production and storytelling that is a cut above the other movies coming out of the UK recently. This one goes even harder than the last.
It does take a little too long in my opinion for the box to be found and then cranked, but when the demon does kick into gear I was gripped and along for the ride. There are some great twists and turns in the plot too that kept me guessing.
I think anyone looking for their latest clown movie fix can do far worse than Jack.

The lead character Raven, needs to go back to acting school. She is absolutely terrible. The other actresses and actors are adequate. The story was farfetched even beyond the demonic entity of Jack. While the production values are higher than the average horror, the acting and dialogue really bring it down. The movie is watchable, but barely, and I have seen a lot of trash in the horror genre. The movie could have been done better with way less budget and just have better actors and writers. Even if they just replaced the Raven character with a better actress and had someone who could actually write dialogue, thr movie would be improved tenfold.
