Last two episodes of this show were great and amusing! The start of the show had a very slow onset and I agree it was rather boring. Then it took a turn and we got to see more of the personalities of the characters and the plot unfolded into surreal bowl of pleasant chaos. The animation has a very minimalistic style which is not usual for this decade anymore and I personally enjoy to see this "low effort animation". It really is a matter of taste! The scenes are often repetitive with zero change almost like it's a loop but being put in the right moment they came out as hilarious. Curious how the season 2 will turn out.
I don't understand the level of hate I've seen in the reviews. When I saw the commercials I wasn't a huge fan of the art style, and the jokes seemed pretty cookie cutter. But then I put on the show and I was impressed with their willingness to "go for it" and not play it totally safe. The delivery from the voice cast is the most favors when it comes to the humor, because yes a fair amount of the jokes are pretty cliche, but the delivery from the brothers is really where this show is at its best. While I don't really think it's quite unique enough to stand out in any significant way yet, I think it's fairly solid in its foundation and I had some genuine laughs that honestly surprised me. I think a lot of the 1/10 reviews are really unjust and a lot of that has to do with the mediocre art direction. Not the best adult animation out there, but certainly not terrible. 1/10 reviews are reserved for absolute corporate trainwrecks, like Chicago Party Aunt, which this is not. 6-7/10, better than "Meh" but nothing game changing.
Royal Crackers is funny. It's not the best show ever made but it tries to be good at what it's trying to do. It doesn't try real hard. It doesn't try to less. The show isn't perfect. What Royal Crackers does achieve is to make fun of the way too upper class. The ones that are not welcoming to others.
In between the show is funny with it's small talk. It creates simple comedy by Stebe being the way he just is. Stebe points out things he observes and shares too much. Don't we all once in a while? Maybe the difference is we keep those things to ourselves and don't overshare.
Besides the characters the story is written along a family that has money but clearly does not know how to use it. They have trouble fitting in with the family business and the competitive businesses.
Without spoiling anything from the show I'm going to say you need to watch it. This show is going to be as big as Rick and Morty. It might not be the best and prettiest animation but this show has something that's in the presence of fandom.
Nothing in Royal Crackers is super cringy. It's just clean silly fun. So if you are looking for that cringe like Bob's Burgers offers look somewhere else. This show has stupid comedy. People singing like Korn, People eating drywall, Playing Minecraft. Do not expect them to make a 2 hour movie or get science fictiony on this show. Remember when watching it's just Royal Crackers. It's good but not the best thing ever invented.

Royal crackers has been an absolute joy so far. Seeing the trailers for this show I didn't have high expectations but its really proven to be a witty, creative, fun show. Its like "Bobs Burgers" meets "It's always sunny in Philadelphia". The humor is bizarre and and they really take chances but the writing is great. TThe characters are deep and complex, they all play off of each other really well, they are the worst kind of people but somewhat endearing at the same time. I highly suggest you give this show a chance, its definitely not for everyone but I think most people will be pleasantly surprised with what they find when they then into "Royal Crackers".

Royal Crackers is pretty damn good imo. Idk, talking about every day topics in an absurdist manner, commenting on the antiquated nature our society has with old industry, also, it's funny! Not everything works and I think the flash animation kind of messed with people, like because it isn't pretty it isn't good. Theo is hilarious, there are real people like him and they are kind of strange shapes, as if the universe is laughing at itself. The old industry is hinted at throughout the show like one of the patriarch's friends and in flashbacks etc. Stebe? That's funny dumb humor that I like. The Deb character has a sincerity and irony to her and it is great, the kid? Hilarious, somehow I have had some, remember now some moments relatable to him. The patriarch is funny too.
