The Penguin once again delivers top notch quality entertainment with its rich and gripping story and complex characters!
Just like in the first episode, you can tell how everything is made with a certain passion for exploring one of the lesser known Batman villains, and turning him into, perhaps one of the best written villains!
Colin Farrel continues to shine, mastergully capturing The Penguin and Oswald personality!
I was hooked the entire time! It never feels too predictable and clichee, with all these twists and turns that will leave you excited and guessing at whats gonna happen next!
The side characters are absolutely killing it as well! Everyone is giving their all!
People have already done comparisons to The Sopranos, and while both shows are different, this one has the potential to reach the same level of quality, if it only gets better from here!

This series is a real godsend for all fans of high-quality cinema! From the very first minutes, he immerses himself in his unique world, capturing with an intriguing plot and an unsurpassed atmosphere. Each episode is a small masterpiece filled with deep emotions and carefully thought-out details
The cast was chosen just perfectly: each actor put his soul into his role, creating vivid and memorable images. I want to support the heroes in their struggle, rejoice in their victories and empathize with their losses. Acting at the highest level is not just roles, but live characters that are easy to identify with
Separately, it is worth noting the work of the screenwriters. Their skill is evident in every line of the dialogues, which sound natural and organic. The story unfolds smoothly and unpredictably, forcing the viewer to constantly wonder what will happen next. Plot twists deliver unexpected and exciting blows, keeping the interest throughout the series
I'm waiting for the next episode 🙏💯

Episode 2 is fraught with intensity, guesswork and trepidation, as we see our favourite villain web his schemes.
Outstanding performances all around. As with the debut, gripping with emotion and suspense.
Colin Farrel has to be a guaranteed nomination for an Emmy. Never before have we seen a character with such a lack of charisma, but absolute scene stealing empowerment; the epitome of class, since Walter White or Tony Soprano.
This is sheer perfection at its best. The ultimate in entertainment, for the educated mind.
I am so enthralled with this series. Its natural to take a step back from the debut, that's the big one, and the next shouldn't come until the finale.
However this episode keeps it rolling from Ep.1 and shows necessary character development, with rugged, unapologetic indescretion.
Bare in mind, The Penguin is the bad guy. We shouldn't be rooting for him. But nobody seems to be the "good guy" here, which makes it so easy for us to get lost in 'The Penguin's' world.
I love it. Because much like the aforementioned White & Soprano, they WERE indeed, the bad guys, that we somehow found ourselves rooting for.
This truly is storytelling at its finest. Locked in after 1 episode, lost in it after 2. Anticipating the changes to come in episode 3. This show is contagious and everyone should feel its infection.
I cannot voice enough my pleasure at watching this series. Also, the continuity from "The Batman" to this series is very evident, and I appreciate that so much.
I only hope they don't mess with the films that defects the storylines here. Because this is a series that could go 3 or 4 seasons, all pending on how the next film is written.
So I am going to enjoy this show while its here, whether its 1 season or 10.
Its just so good so far, and if you're reading this there's a good chance you'll agree also.

OK, I am easy to please. Give me a good writing, good actors, well made sets and sprinkle it with little action and boy, Penguin episodes 1 and 2 delivered on all those fronts.
The show so far has rich dialogues, great story and is very well acted. I was on the edge of my seat this whole episode. Perfect start and perfect ending.
The first episode was equally gripping. The tone was consistent, as it is dark, gritty and layered.
If this is an indication of how it will be for the rest of the season, then we may have Penguin as one of the top great shows In a decade!
Can't wait on what's to come.

Colin Farrell's Penguin continues to be compulsively watchable and again his machinations drive a very good second episode. He manages to be simultaneously machiavellian, mercurial and desperate as he weaves complex schemes while also being forced to claw for survival. The supporting cast, especially Christin Milloti, remains excellent. There's enough action, intrigue and suspense to keep things interesting and the pace moves briskly.
If there's one downside to this episode it's that it hits most of the same beats as the first, albeit in novel ways. I hope the rest of the series won't just be six more episodes recycling the same basic ideas. Fortunately a reveal in the closing minutes of the second episode indicates that it won't.

- TriviaVisual Effects Supervisor Johnny Han revealed that the team working on the show actually developed a new type of prop gun to use on set, one that could offer the actors the physical interaction they needed, give the directors and VFX teams something convincing to build on, and keep everyone on set safer than the prop guns that used to be used in such sequences: "So for 'FEMA heist' our team developed these flash guns where they look like regular guns but they have an enormously bright camera flash that could be triggered by the actors so that they could wield it and feel that flash of light as they pull the trigger," Han explained. "We felt this was a really unique approach to doing gunfire because for safety it helps us not use real guns on set."
- GoofsAfter Ray and Ervad shoot each other, the truck is shown accelerating into the car they had just crashed into. In the next shot, the truck is shown further back.
