Sermon on the 'Mount

Trey and Matt are the only people I wish we could clone, so each country would have a creative duo like this .Once again, they prove they can carry the torch for many more years (at least 5 more ,right? ) to come and pull through one of their more emblematic set-ups for the new season of South Park.

This episode is an instant classic in any way and form. Can't wait for the follow up (ep.2 ) and this episode is probably the best they 've done in a few years. The ending was sublime. The direction was spotless. Wow. This is the kind of hope the creative industry needs . Amen :P.

As much as I tend not to speak much on the state of political correctness and real life censorship, I have to applaud South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone for not only sticking it to the corrupt American congress but also towards Paramount themselves. Seeing the very existence of the South Park residents being forced to compromise their own lives and integrity over unnecessary and frankly illegal change is as hilarious as it is frightening. We're now living in a time where nobody is special because of the current downfall of political and societal progression, and I'm happy that Parker and Stone went out of their way to show that their work still matters in this current day.

Here's to a brand new season of the show going against the insanity that creatives artists around the world are facing, let alone American citizens.

Satire is a powerful form of nonviolent protest. So are the words of Jesus and a teenie weenie. The walls have come down in the world of political satire and South Park uses it's wrecking ball effectively. There's depth here, not just a hit piece. The depth may be painful but there's a human honesty underneath.

This is what we remember South Park in it's glory days! The shock value with the raunchy jokes will always be there as their calling, but this was actually funny well curated pop culture/political satire jokes. I was worried Trey and Matt were losing their edge with the major deal in place and the controversy surrounding it, but they didn't disappoint!

Funniest episode of the show in YEARS. Truly I hope we get to see every last one of those 50 episode (and PSA). I loved all the callback to earlier south park, and overall the plot was amazing. The cartman storyline was great, the inclusion of every character was great actually, especially the one who wears a suit.
