Mathis Court with Judge Mathis

I watched for many years however Greg Mathis has become a ridiculous hypocrite! He runs his mouth so much I can barely keep track of the actual court case! He'll tell people to go on and then cut them off with some ridiculous accusations to the litigants! I can't stand this show anymore!!!!! Maybe he should take his own advice and check himself into rehab! He thinks he's humorous but he actually comes off as a complete freaking idiot! If I ever had a court case arise I would absolutely never never take my case to him! He even embarrasses his own son in front of the entire courtroom! If I were his son, I would find another job!! His family must be absolutely appalled and ashamed to admit that he is there relation! I'm not even sure why his wife appears in some of the shows as I would be embarrassed! Like I said he needs to check himself into rehab because he appears to be on crack himself as he does not know when to shut up and let the lit against explain the case! I'm so over the show it's not even funny!! The worst judge on all of the Court shows!

I've been watched his show for yrs and most of the time enjoyed the dialogue and the court cases. So it was no stretch that I would watch. The new show. Disappointed is an understatement. Who is this rude, angry man, lackadaisical, overly opinionated judge? He seems very big headed now, very unprofessional reared back n his seat barking his opinion, and often summoning people up before hearing the entire case and don't let him get a attitude case is over you loss!! And then there's his son (the new Doyle) making light of what supposed to be real cases where is the professionalism? Though he and Doyle did some of the same this is on a whole other level. I have now watched at least seven episodes to see if it would get better to no avail. I will no longer be watching or recording the new show and if it continues this current course, I'm sure people will not only not watch but will not want their cases tried by him. I hope he reads these reviews and at least ponder what's being said by the broader audience.

Byron Allen normally uses actors like in all the other court shows. Mathis isn't his normal self. He's acting too crazy & out of character IMO.

I'm probably gonna have to pass on 2 of my favorite judges.

Looks like I'm just gonna stick to Hot Bench! Which is Judge Judy ... she's too much of a bully for me but at least on the shows she has all the litigants are real like People's Court was & the old Mathis show.

I mean most of these other shows the judges can yell all they like cause it's fake ppl.

I've been a fan for years and have watched your show consistently. So disappointed in the new show. Who is this rude and angry man? I admired your professionalism accompanied by your witty banter with Doyle and the cast. Is this new show showing your real personality? If so I am sad for you and your family. If they've had to grow up with and live with this person. I hope this is a new show character.i loved your reality show but I'm wondering if it was a persona for the cameras. I am so upset every time I watch the new show. It's good to showcase your son but I do miss Doyle. Now I'm wondering if that friendship was real.

I remember trying this show on The CW Baltimore during the day it first came out & it was really impressive due to the fact that Judge Greg Mathis had the same level of humour he had on his other show which sadly ended in 2023 due to Warner Bros. Wanting to do away with producing court shows. I even like the way the show's set looks as it was really beautiful. I was even happy finding out that the same time that the former show came to a close, Mr. Byron Allen was nice enough to give Judge Greg Mathis another chance to host a court show just like how he (Byron Allen) gave Judges Karen Mills-Francis, Mablean Ephriam, Cristina Perez, Glenda Hatchett, Marilyn Milian & Lauren Lake another chance to host court shows.
