Summaries

  • Victor Osagie, is a single Nigerian father whose son, Marlon Osagie has just come out to him that he is gay. It' s been a week since the incident happened and that has caused Victor to retract from his son and has refused to speak a word to him. Because of this, Marlon tries to get his dad' s attention by cooking him a meal and talking to him about their upcoming project. When Victor finally agrees to have a conversation with Marlon, it not only causes further strain in their relationship but Victor makes it clear that he no longer wants Marlon to involve himself in the project they had been working on together. Marlon becomes furious about his dad' s decision and walks away from the conversation. After the initial conversation, they both lock themselves away until they awkwardly bump into each other in the hallway. Without hesitation, Marlon starts to talk to Victor about his sexuality and how it should have no correlation with the project. The conversation gets heated and Marlon takes a jab at Victor that hits hard. With all of their emotions heightened, Victor starts to talk about the Nigerian culture and Marlon completely dismisses him. This argument eventually builds up to their final conversation. Will Marlon be able to convince Victor to accept him for who he is?
