A killer strikes in the shadow of Barcelona's Sagrada Familia cathedral. Crooner Jack and First Officer Kate uncover a mystery of concealed identities that stretches back to the assassination of a Russian oligarch.

A little more of a serious episode than the others with Jack taking hard that his friend gets killed, a fine puncture at the back of his neck. A sign of an assassin, perhaps... or was it someone closer to him. Though I figured out who the killer was, there was enough twist and turns to keep it interesting, and I could've been wrong. Only gripe is that Jack pining over Kate marrying someone else gets repetitive, and plus I find Kate a little insensitive and too thick to realise she's making a mistake.

The ship docks in the majestic City of Barcelona, but there's no rest for Jack, who has to investigate the death of a friend and colleague, he's also struggling to hide his feelings for Kate.

Possibly my least favourite episode so far, but still light and entertaining.

It's definitely getting a little more serious with every passing episode, this and the previous one felt quite different to all of the others, unfortunately this wasn't as interesting as the previous.

I know you have to stretch your disbelief a little, I think we were just expected to suspend it a bit too much here, I'm just not sure it worked.

Favourite scene had to be Shayne Ward singing True Faith, that seriously worked.

Once again there's plenty of scenery to enjoy, and I don't just mean Shayne Ward's tattoos and muscles, oh come on!!!

Interesting stories, cute show. But one thing bothers me. Most of the acting is okay, but not all. The man who plays Piers de Vreese is awful. Unbelievable, with an accent that keeps changing in different scenes. I see he's from Manchester, but he doesn't have a British accent of any kind. Whatever it's supposed to be, it's incomprehensible. And the idea that the first officer can find him attractive, becoming engaged to him, is crazy. And I know this is a showcase for Shayne Ward, and he's good in the role, but not ideal.

Also we never see crowds of people on a ship that supposedly has thousands of passengers. It always looks empty. That bothers me too.

So, don't take the show too literally or seriously. It's a lighthearted jaunt in lovely settings.
