Overall,a disappointed movie
Hari Hara Veera Mallu Part 1 is now streaming on Prime Video.
To be honest, I had zero expectations for this film right from the time it was announced - and sadly, it delivered exactly that.
MM Keeravani's music is probably the only department that did its duty reasonably well when compared to the rest.
The first half is somewhat watchable, but the second half completely loses steam and falls flat.
Action sequences lack authenticity, and the VFX is extremely poor at times even laughable. There are moments where the actors appear overly made-up, and in some shots, their faces look unnaturally smooth, almost as if AI filters were applied.
To top it off, the inclusion of political dialogues in almost every scene feels forced and makes the experience even more frustrating.

An unreal story with extraordinary script
Never expected this kind of story as the story lacks of script. Many drawbacks to mention as movie starts with meaning less logic. Lack of vfx às movie with high budget, never seen such an idiot movie... Lots of timepass unwanted carecters Are been introduced into the movie which has no perticular use in the movie.. lots of .. lots of mistakes are on the movie.
Worst graphics
This movie have worst graphics and the second half is very boring. And this movie have many inspirations of another movies like bahubali and rrr. So I clearly say that this movie second half is very very worst.
And the first half is little bit good that's why I give 3 stars In conclusion, Hari Hara Veera Mallu is a missed opportunity. With better writing, visual execution, and stronger performances, it could've been a landmark film. Instead, it ends up being an undercooked and forgettable historical drama that fails to live up to its massive hype.

Hari Hara Veera Mallu, A Historical Misstep That Fails to Dazzle
Visually, "Hari Hara Veera Mallu" is a significant letdown for a film of this scale. The much-touted VFX are often jarringly poor, pulling the viewer out of any immersion the period setting might attempt to create. From unconvincing CGI animals to laughably fake-looking environmental effects like avalanches and tornadoes, it's clear that visual polish was sacrificed somewhere along the prolonged production journey. This lack of attention to detail undermines the very spectacle the film strives to achieve.
Furthermore, the film's attempt to intertwine historical events with a strong religious undertone feels forced and inorganic. While the theme of protecting Dharma is present, it's often imposed rather than seamlessly integrated into the narrative, leading to a preachy tone that detracts from the adventurous spirit. The long production delays are palpable on screen, with an inconsistent look and feel that suggests a patchwork effort rather than a singular vision.
Ultimately, "Hari Hara Veera Mallu" is an ambitious misfire. It's a film that relies heavily on its star's appeal and a rousing background score (courtesy of M. M. Keeravaani, a rare highlight) to mask its fundamental flaws. It ends on a cliffhanger, promising a "Part 2" that, given the uneven ride of the first installment, many viewers might not be eager to see. For a film that had all the makings of a captivating folk hero story, it sadly devolves into a sluggish, visually unpolished, and narratively scattered experience that fails to deliver on its grand promises.

Didn't like it
Yesterday I have watched this movie with so much expectations but utterly disappointted, how many times we have to watch same plot same story about Aurangzeb being a bad guy and our hero try to save the people like robinhood?? Direction was so bad , vfx were also below par, bgm music are not in synchronisation, and at times you will feel that what's going on.

- TriviaWill be the first Pan-Indian project of Pawan kalyan !
- Alternate versionsThe makers edited the film significantly after a lukewarm initial response, a decision that came five days after the film's release. The climax was notably tightened, while several face-off moments and the elaborate cyclone sequences, which had poor VFX, were omitted. The 'flag scene,' featuring a distorted visual of Pawan Kalyan's face, was removed due to negative attention. Additionally, an action sequence involving Pawan Kalyan firing arrows was subtly modified for stronger impact. Another scene trimming occurred post-interval, where sequences involving a horse ride along a cliff's edge were shortened to increase pace and retain audience engagement.
