    Doggo rightful heir

I don't expect action, I expect dialogues that are worth listening to over and over again and I don't think I've seen anyone, except Rhaenys, leave a mark on my memory (at least in this season) like Viserys in season 1, or a Tywin, a Cersei, a Littlefinger, a Varys, a Tyrion and I could go on. Since when did Rhaenyra stop being intelligent, stop being a queen, stop being the one Viserys believed in, to become a swordswoman? The episode gains thanks to Alicent, Alys and the doggo but I can't feel the other characters, their soul, as I would like. I loved Daemon at Harrenal in previous episodes but not anymore. Baela has so much potential, i liked her but still, I can't feel her. I needed more Helaena too.

filler episode for a season with 8 eps is crazy

    See title

I'm so sorry jeyne arryn. And sabitha frey, my queen of killing men and kissing men. You will be missed.

That is NOT alyssa. Ryan and sara think targaryen = silver wig and it's embarrassing. Not even GRRM crossed the line into parent/child incest. For a REASON. Harrenhal subplot is tiring now. Also what's the reason for all this noncanon tuff about the riverlands? They were one of the first people to rise up for rhaenyra, for viserys little girl. Aemond was the one who torched the riverlands everytime he got mad. Trying to alienate daemon from the audience all bc the show runners hate him is just weird. Simon strong you are an icon.

The only saving graces are jace and baela. He's serving face and getting more noble houses to his mothers cause at the same time! And baela is being queeny as usual. In another life, they would've been amazing rulers.

    The episode was kinda cold

After the battle ended, I saw that the lions were suffering a lot. I want to understand why black people experience more pressure from the Green Party. So far, Rhaenyra hasn't done anything. The Black Party really needs a mastermind for this tense party. The episode had fairly good dialogues. We understand some important things and important characters, but... I want to understand why Damon is still trapped in two minds because I really want to see the Damon that George Arrard Martin said he was. I really want Damon.

To start working hard and put an end to the bad dreams that destroyed his personality. Really, I rated it an 8/9. The episode had good dialogue, but I wish Damon would finish this.

    Are people actually paying attention?

I can't understand why people are being so critical. Is all you care for blood & gore?

The last episode was amazing yes, a thrilling experience that left me at the edge of my seat. Though everyone condemning this episode as a "filler" aren't paying attention.

There are so many plots being put together, where things are starting to make sense and add up to something greater.

Had we not had these episode prior, The Red Dragon and the Gold would not have been so successful. We saw the build up of conflicts, power tripping and ignorance, lead to a devastating battle that changed the whole direction of this show.

Patience is a virtue. I am eager & waiting to see the chaos that's about to unfold.

Perhaps the weakest episode in the entire series

I think people should always be considerate when rating these episodes. If you give this episode anything higher than 8, it insults episodes like episode 4. By no means is this episode terrible. But my god, some of these storylines are dull and add nothing to the characters. Instead of having Daemon have sleep apnea, move on already. It feels like forever since we are doing the same thing with him. The ever-lasting battles between the Blackwood and the Brackens need to be fleshed out more because I can't force myself even to care. There are some excellent elements in the episode. But for an hour-long episode, I could summarize it in 2 sentences. I love the show and believe the next episodes will be more enjoyable. I hope we have more character development and better pacing because episodes 3 and 5 felt like a waste.

Queen Rhaenyra Targaryen: Do you take issue with me, Sir Alfred?

Ser Alfred Broome: My loyalty to you is proven, my queen.

Queen Rhaenyra Targaryen: Your loyalty, perhaps, but your willingness to give me deference in a time of war.

Ser Alfred Broome: I could never doubt your capability, or your quickness of mind. It is merely that the gentler sex, heretofore, has not been much privy to the strategies of battle, or their execution.

Queen Rhaenyra Targaryen: There has been peace in our lifetime. You've seen no more battles than I have.
