When it comes to documentary presenters/narrators David is hard to beat and his best work. Narration by Attenborough helps significantly. He clearly knows his stuff and knows what to say and how to say it. He delivers it with his usual richness, soft-spoken enthusiasm and sincerity, never talking down to the viewer and keeping them riveted and wanting to know more. This documentary focuses in well-explored, well-researched and fascinating details. It covers three different biotypes (flora, fauna and humans) as well as the different environments of India (the desert, Himalayas and jungle). It gives good glimpse of the Indian wild life. Overall, wonderful documentary with very small margin to complaint. It has shown the elephants, tigers and lions primarily featured show a mix of playfulness, pathos, cuteness and ruthlessness, with glimpses of rhinos, buffalo as just a couple of examples. There are plenty such animals. This documentary is very close to the reality, someone who wonders the possibilities of sharing human life and animal life together, this shows a piece of such information. One of the best documentaries on Indian wild-life. There is very less competition in this space (Indian wild-life).
