Persephone (2013)

Trivia

Persephone

Edit
The movie was originally intended to be released as a four part web-series. Each segment would follow one character and show their perspectives around a singular event. This paved the way toward the specific genres being developed for each character.
In its early stages, the film contained no Greek references and had several working titles. While working on the Noir section of the script, Caleb stumbled across an article written about the goddess Persephone. Infatuated with the story, he decided to incorporate her story and its themes of duality into the script.
The conceptualizing process was completed over the course of two eight hour days. The team literally locked themselves into a room until they had a cohesive story idea.
Shot during their sophomore year of college, the creative team wanted to use the project to show how much of an asset a full blown film program could be for their school.
The scene where Jim is seen breaking into Plouton Pharmaceuticals was shot guerrilla style, with Sasha using his Janitorial costume to gain access to various facilities he would not be able to otherwise.
