Episode #1.4

Well there is a good discussion about the Grand Theft Auto games. It takes me back to my PS2 days. I think that was the most memorable part of the episode.

It was surprising that Nish and Ali actually decided to do some police work in this episode.

At times Passenger does well with imagery. The episode begins with those men from the B&B in a back of a van with hazmat suits and gas masks.

Jim Bracknell dragging a burnt mannequin to the entrance of this fracking site. The spooky goings on in the countryside.

All these visuals just reminded me how meandering the various character arcs are.

I did laugh when Riya wonders if she has lost her investigative skills. I wonder if she ever had any in the first place. Using her Jakub's garage to pin up evidence. That is a breach of all sorts of data protection laws.

No wonder her boss Linda Markel is pulling strings to get her moved to Manchester. Of course maybe Linda has something to hide.

Riya continues to dig away, but Linda is pushed too far, and arranges for her to be transferred out to Manchester. John continues to struggle in hospital

I'm no brainbox, but I'd like to think I have a decent level of intelligence......why couldn't I apply it here, for the most part, I didn't have a clue what was going on.

I thought it was really getting somewhere in episode 3, we were starting to get some answers, it was coming tougher, after this one though, I am a little lost.

What is 'it?' that's surely the burning question. I like that there's still that sci fi element hanging over it, very similar to Fortitude, but this show needs to start brining us along soon, before it's too late.
