B. Skow has made hundreds of porn features and his lack of iinterest in his day job is obvious in this clunky entry in Girlfriends' "Diary" series.
It consists of four unrelated vignettes, with uninteresting set-ups before the rather mechanical XXX action takes over completely. The cast is mainly made up of unknown actresses, mostly unimpressive, harking back to Skow's many gonzo videos spotlighting new talent.
One thing is quite odd here: the Girlfriends website (touting VOD releases) has still photos for all the cast members and about half of them don't match the actresses as seen in the movie. Extreme hair color changes are partly responsible, but Hime Marie really has changed. And a thin red book for the diary seems to have been reused as a prop over and over again.
Hime has sex with the great Scarlett Sage in the opening scene, which is all sweetness and light -remarkably dull. They play roommates who discover via one's diary that they really really like each other -cue the sex.
Jewelz Blu and Jazlyn Ray briefly clash, again due the diary but a minute or two later they are also humping away. One scene is almost identical to a vignette in the next Girlfriends release: "Women Seeking Women 191", with Summer Vixen as personal trainer reading her client Celestina Blooms' diary -discovering each has the hots for the other.
A clash of personalites is the gimmick in one scene: Sonny McKinley as something of a renaisance woman, talking nonstop with endless detail and information on any and all topics, while her lover Mazy Myers is a couch potato who only wants to play mindless video games. This vignette tries to be emotionally moving but fails, merely having the girls have sex together but implying basic lack of compatibility means their relationship is over.
