The Thundermans (2013-2018) is a Nickelodeon sitcom I used to watch a lot as a kid and it was fun. Now as an adult, the show is just okay enough.
Positives for The Thundermans (2013-2018):
The best thing about this show is the cast that includes Kira Kosarin, Jack Griffo, Addison Riecke, Diego Velazquez, Chris Tallman, Rosa Blasi and Maya Le Clark. They work well enough as a family unit and their comedic timing is very good for what they had to work with in the show. The fight scenes are fun enough with some hilarious special effects. I like the variety of villains and their unique powers. And finally, this is one of those shows where you need to turn your brain off to enjoy it.
Negatives for The Thundermans (2013-2018):
There is some humor that hasn't aged so well and it's not for the reasons that some people might be thinking because he who shall not be named don't create this show. This is one of those Nickelodeon sitcoms where they just don't write good humor all the time. I don't think Nickelodeon is that good at creating sitcoms for kids. And finally, this show is a discount version of Pixar's The Incredibles (2004).
Overally, The Thundermans (2013-2018) is an acceptable enough Nickelodeon sitcom thanks to the charm of the cast, but it didn't blow me away.
