Trivia

Chiquititas

Edit
Is the first "Chiquititas" production to be made after the untimely death of Romina Yan, star of the original series Chiquititas (1995). Yan died of a heart atack in 2010.
The Raio De Luz manor sets were built based on an 18th century English manor.
Both Paulo Leal and Lisandra Cortez were on another Cris Morena-based production, Rebel Rio! (2011). This series also starred Carla Diaz from Chiquititas Brasil (1997). The majority of the Rebelde Way (2002) cast had been previously on Chiquititas (1995).
Entirely produced in Brazil, with no involvement of franchise creator Cris Morena. In 2000, production of Chiquititas Brasil (1997) was almost moved from Argentine to Brazil, since SBT and Telefe's deal allowed this. However, that series ended up being canceled.
The young actors sing the musical themes themselves, as was done on the original Argentinian Chiquititas (1995). The young cast from Chiquititas Brasil (1997) actually lipsynched to ghost singers, while Flávia Monteiro and most of the adult cast performed the songs themselves.
