    Coolie a Review

Coolie movie staring Rajnikanth, Nagarjuna, Soubin shahir, Satyaraj, Upendra, Aamir khan, Shruti Hassan, Rachitha Ram is a movie with good screen play with lots of unexpected twists right from the start of movie as it's seen to be a revenge story initially but lokesh kanagaraj handles the play with twists and unanswered suspence upto the intermission block, while the second half slowly reveals the answers in non linear way which leads to the unexpected twists on how coolies are used for, Soubin shahir performed well right from the start of movie till the climax, main antagonist nagarjuna has done well in the movie, all the other characters have justified thier roles, High lights of the movie tricky screen play by director, camera work is good at many scenes mainly stunts sequences, editing is good, anirudh bgm and songs like monica belluci, Aragam adiram is good, art works in movie is average, Unexpected move by rachitha ram was good, Aamir khan entry , upendra action turn over was a good feast on screen, the mapping of rajnikanth coolie number to one the character in movie was an emotional scene, the words power house was also in similar pattern but utilized at good place at last few minutes.

This movie is worth watch movie for true friendship.

    Enjoyable Watch with Strong Performances

As a fan of Rajini, I thoroughly enjoyed his screen presence and energy throughout the movie. Nagarjuna's negative role was outstanding, especially in the opening sequences, adding a strong impact to the story. Shruti delivered a solid performance, and the background music was excellent, perfectly complementing the mood and action. The second half, however, felt a bit stretched, and Upendra's role could have been utilized better. Aamir's cameo added to the excitement. Overall, a good entertainer with memorable performances and powerful moments.

50 years of Rajini Swag & Special!

Coolie number 5821 - This is more of a Lokesh (Loki) movie which is driven by our super star Rajinikanth loaded with multiple star casts and Anirudh BGM is very enjoyable and elevated the movie to different level. When Vikram movie came, everyone went crazy because it was a excellent storyline, screenplay etc and it created a Loki universe (LCU) and was a trend setter.

To continue Loki legacy with actor like Rajnikanth, it is difficult to think something completely different story and it may not work as well. So, he sticked on to same (Vikram) kind of a cinematic experience to present to the audience (To attract rajini's wide fan base from various generations) which is really good to see. But there is no concrete storyline to support this movie and audience gets bit confused when this kind of a story moves so fast with not a big purpose (storyline). This movie is really a good one loaded with Rajnikanth swag and style on a big screen and it is a cinematic gift for 50 years completion and also to see Vintage Rajnikanth in falshback gives goosebumps. I like loki movies with the way he takes it in his style and so I like this movie as well and worth to watch in theatres. This movie has lots of attractive action sequence to enjoy. Actor Soubin Sahir acting was too good and eye catching and acted effortlessly, Ratchagan hero Nagarjuna is back in negative shade & did a decent job in acting with his style, look & charm, Sathyaraj comes only in flashback and he is too good as usual & Shrutihasan role was really good, cameos by Upendra & Amir khan is really good. Other actors Kanna Ravi, Rachita Ram, Charle did a good supporting role.

Overall, a cinematic gift to our beloved Superstar Rajnikanth at the age of 75 to cherish with overlaoded violence in Loki style and only he can manage these kind of stories with lot of stars studded with excellent screenplay but he needs to move on with different kind of storyline or subjects to continue his legacy forward.

    Honest Opinion

Honestly, the story feels pretty outdated - some bits work, some don't, but nothing really fresh. The pacing is flat, the narration drags on forever, and the writing just doesn't have that spark.

Rajinikanth is fine, but nowhere near his peak form. Nagarjuna? Totally wasted potential. The rest of the cast... well, let's just say they didn't leave much of an impression.

Music hits okay in a few scenes, but overall nothing that sticks in your head. Cinematography is meh - not bad, not wow. Sets are passable, but nothing grand. Lokesh's direction is probably the biggest letdown... feels like he just wasn't in the zone for this one.

End of the day? Save your time - not worth the watch unless you're a diehard fan who just has to see everything.

Coolie - Thalaivar Mode Entertains. - itsbymayank

Coolie, the Rajinikanth-led multistarrer, begins with a promising first half that beautifully builds the chemistry between the audience and the narrative. The introduction of Rajni sir's character is impactful, setting the tone for a high-energy entertainer. The storytelling in the early portions keeps you engaged, with well-timed emotional beats, stylish sequences, and perfectly placed cameo appearances that bring an element of surprise and delight.

However, the second half slows down its pace noticeably, causing the overall momentum to dip. The build-up of Rajni sir's character, which started strong, gradually loses its intensity, leading to a climax that feels underwhelming compared to the expectations set earlier. The screenplay seems to stretch certain sequences, making the final act less gripping than it could have been.

On the brighter side, the performances are consistently good across the cast. Every actor, big or small, delivers with sincerity, and the camaraderie among characters feels genuine. The fight scenes are a highlight-well-choreographed, stylish, and executed with flair, perfectly complementing the action-packed essence of the film. The background score deserves special mention for enhancing the mood and elevating several key moments.

In summary, Coolie is an entertaining watch in parts, carried by strong performances, impactful cameos, and impressive action. Yet, a tighter second half and a more powerful climax could have transformed it into a truly memorable Rajinikanth spectacle.
