Can't find the word to explain how horrible this movie was. Horrible acting. It looks like they took random people from the street and asked them to star in a movie. They look like they are reading lines from a paper.
Has nothing to do with the trailer which look convincing.
The story is absolutely stupid and super convoluted, to the point that it has no sense.
The movie is not a thriller but a comedy, cause the acting, dialogue and plot makes it truly comical.
The actions of the characters make no sense either.
The English of the characters is terrible and I've watched good movies with broken english, but here, combined with the bad plot and horrible acting it makes it even more ridiculous.

Kingdom of Judas is not a movie for everyone. Is a movie like a puzzle, filled with good fresh acting, beautiful landscapes, an intriguing story and the fact that is fully spoken in English makes the cross-over to the international market. Kingdom of Judas plays with our minds until the story-end revealing. Is definitely better than several international movies lacked of story for which people pay money only because they are international. Is time to continue to go to Romanian movies, to watch them in cinemas, that are made for the international market. And to never forget that we all can decide to be Judas or pure în the living reality. Good one!

"Kingdom of Judas" marks a historic moment as the first Romanian film spoken entirely in English and featuring a cast of Romanian actors. In the movie "Kingdom of Judas" the main character Anna tries to uncover the truth behind her sister's tragic death. Driven by the madness of her sister's death Anna comes up with a plan to find out who was responsible for it. The acting in this movie is amazing and the plot is so intriguing, it is honestly the best romanian movie I have ever watched. It is so worth it and watching more than once is even better. Once you know the plot and finally realise what was going on all along, watching it a second time makes you understand the movie even better as you know now where the plot starts to unravel. This movie is a straight 10/10 stars and I absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for an interesting movie with an unexpected plot.
Atrocious acting, I don't know why would they make the movie in english. You can hear the accent from 1000 miles away and there is no reason given for why the actors don't speak the native language. I don't have something against the movie being in a non native language, but not in this circumstances, when the actors speak very poorly. It's truly bothersome. To be honest the best parts of the movie are those when people don't speak.
I actually went to the movie cause I was tricked by the name and language to believe it's a british, canadian or American movie.
The plot makes absolutely no sense. Every few minutes a new character is being introduced. At some point you lose count of the characters and you forget which one was doing what. Most of the characters show for a few minutes. There is no development, there are no reason given for the actions either, there is no feeling, no likable characters, doesn't inspire any feelings in the viewer either. The dialogue looks like it was written by a 4 years old, full of clichés.
To be honest, I don't know the ending cause it was the only movie ever that I watched in cinema and I couldn't stay till the end. It was just unwatchable.
