Sweet Tooth

So quick and so efferverscent that I'm still wondering what's the real goal with this short film. For a student project it's quite well-made, there are plenty of good production values but it's hard to find an actual purpose to a dramatic thriller that gets interested for a long time and then the thrill is gone without much of a wider appeal.

Boy and girl had different views of an event that took place during a party: she claims that she was attacked and abused but the guy keeps telling her to shut up. Major case for a great and tough debate since we are presented the facts as they happened and the viewer can decide what actually happened. Somehow despite all of that, they enter a car and head back home, and that's when things go a lot stranger since there was an inversion of values and situations, and later a third party gets involved when an accident takes place.

It's a very intriguing work yet the more it progresses the more it keeps showing some twists in its plot that just make things confusing or without much of a higher meaning. It didn't impressed me all that much but it kept me going and that's what matters in a way. To the makers of it I say "keep going". There's talent to be worked there. 5/10.
