Raymond Reddington (No. 00): Pt. 1

The intense jockeying for position here is something else. As Raymond moves from place to place to avoid capture, the task force is maneuvering. Dembe decides to take all the responsibility and go to prison. He has made a phone call which is what the Congressman has been waiting for. He is such a stupid man, thinking that his desire for power is enough as rides along as Dembe is being brought to an FBI lockup. There are so many choice moments in this episode. One can't be districted for a moment. The whole fire/firetruck/taxi diversion is amazing. But the conclusion leaves everything up in the air, especially the fate of the nosy politician. Well, let's see what happens.

The episode picks up right where the previous one left off, with Raymond Reddington (James Spader) on the run from the Task Force. He has been framed for the murder of Minister D, and the Task Force is now tasked with bringing him in.

The episode felt a bit rushed. I think it could have benefited from being a bit longer.

The popular saying goes like this: "there's no honour among thieves" but Raymond Reddington is different. He goes all the trouble to honour his friends.

From the first season to this last season this is one character that he demonstrated all through. It's one character that's difficult to find these days, loyalty!
