Wonderful documentary about the most popular MMA fighter!
I'm already a bug UFC Fan and I watch all the fights for years now. So, I've already known which fights he'll win or lose.
But still, it was nice to see a little bit more behind the scenes-stuff and it's visually very well done. The balance about training and fights was well balanced with the life outside the gym and octagon.
For me, it could've been filmed even more insights in his personal life and about his charity work.
But I guess for people who are new to MMA, this might be the perfect documentary to make them curious about this sport.
It was also not too long, 4 episodes in a good length.
Enjoy! :)

Yea yea it may be inspirational at times. But what it also is incredibly repetitive as they use Conor's interviews where his thoughts really repeat on cycle. It's not like the guy is full of clever quotes and deep thoughts.
Also, it's selective in it's approach in covering the events. It's magnifying some that the producers want to emphasise and diminishing other events they're not too keen on. It's not a documentary, it's a subjective Conor promo movie that lacks the impartial view of things. In the end you're left wondering what was the point of this 4 eposode docuseries and why did they stop there.

It's a documentary so agenda and bias included by nature. Someone trashed it because it wasn't objective - that's like trashing the sky for being blue. Every documentary has a conclusion that it is trying to impart on the viewer.
It was fun and provided a bit of extra back story to the semi-collapse of the Mcgregor legend.
It is interesting to see how he handles his worst moments, back stage, in the hospital etc.
It's obvious why this guy is so successful.
The pacing, editing, music etc of the documentary was nice and polished but a bit tired and worn at this point. Nothing different or ground breaking on that front.
The documentary sticks to fighting and doesn't spend time on the scandles Conor found himself involved with.

Only watched the first episode. It avoids most of the truly bad things Conor said and did. It's completely sanitized. Very little content you wouldn't have seen just watching the fight promos! It's essentially one long fight promo for a fight that happened nearly a decade ago. I don't really know what they were thinking putting this out. I guess it's a good promo for Conor's next fight and tries to make the UFC seem good. Even the voice-overs and narrators they chose are pointless. No one want's to hear Dana White talk about how Conor is the fighter of the century... the guy is a bit biased, don't you think!?
Overall a good watch, particularly for fans of mma and the Irish. I gave it a 6/10, it's very introspective and really provides complete insider access to his day to day over the last 4 years or so.
My biggest knock and the reason it wasn't rated higher is it's too centric to the last 4 years. It could've been more of his youth and journey to the top and still be 4 episodes. Perhaps a quick walk through of each UFC match, and the screen shows his record getting better and better.
I wouldn't be surprised if they do another 3 or 4 episodes follow up in a couple years and I'd be game to watch it.
