First film of Oldina Cerutti Do Monte, grandmother of filmmaker Felipe M. Guerra. She was 70 years old at the time.
A violent scene involving a real chainsaw and real raw meat was censored in the TV screening.
Some years after the screening, filmmaker Felipe M. Guerra had the idea of turning the story into a feature film, using this short as a flashback. This new project was never filmed.
This short was filmed in VHS in the course of a day, as an attraction of the Brazilian TV show Caldeirão do Huck (2000), with the presence of the host Luciano Huck as the star.
The film cost only R$ 150 (US$ 75), because the idea was to make a trash movie with no budget. But when Brazilian sites and newspapers wrote about it, they didn't believe the ridiculous budget and reported that the film cost 150,000 - not just 150.
