Uma Musume: Pretty Derby - Road to the Top

Just like with Uma Musume: Pretty Derby, I found myself becoming incredibly emotionally attached to the characters, even more so this time than before, because Road to the Top focuses on emotional storytelling more than anything else in the Uma Musume franchise. The music in tandem with the sadder scenes had me in tears... especially during the scene titled "Admire Vega's Vow to the New Moon." The animation is also incredible, the amount of detail they put into it is nuts, I was especially impressed with how well they could simulate a multitude of different lighting effects entirely with 2D animation. To put it simply, Road to the Top is peak.
