Gammelgormium: First Contact

At a surface level this looks like it could be so-bad-its-good. I mean, literally everything is greenscreened, the entire environment looks like clipart, all the audio is echoey because they clearly filmed it in some empty room with a wall that's been painted green, it's just like The Amazing Bulk, right?

Unfortunately not. Maybe if you've only seen 3 so-bad-its-good movies ever, you might also put this in that category, even then I'm not sure. But movies like The Amazing Bulk have so much more charm to them in the story, there's a method to their madness. This though is just boring. The vast majority of the movie is just shots of terrible-looking fake computers, or of people walking down halls, or spaceships floating around, silent other than annoying sound effects and music. It's kind of like if 2001: A Space Odyssey was made on with no budget by somebody with no talent, and if there was even less dialogue. Skip to a random part of this movie, there's a 90% chance it's showing you some crappy computer screen or something just to pad the runtime.

It's just boring and disappointing. Don't watch.
