Watched this in the hope it might be similar to The Glory, which I really enjoyed.
Sadly, I didn't enjoy this. The writing wasn't very good, and the acting was pretty mediocre.
Good writing can make us sympathize and understand characters, but due to the poor writing here we end up becoming frustrated with characters naivety and bad decisions.
There were a number of times I thought to myself "No semi-intelligent person would act like that".
It ended up becoming irritating.
It wasn't the worst drama I've seen, and is about on par with most of the tat coming out of the USA, but I hoped for better.
I wouldn't recommend watching this.

It's a good series with modern cinematography and excitement that makes you want to keep watching. But like all school-themed series, it has ten episodes in the first season, and so far, only five episodes have been released from the second season. The series is about a school for the rich, where some scholarship students are bullied and oppressed. The story begins when a poor scholarship student from the school is found to have committed suicide. That's when the events unfold to find out whether it was a suicide or a murder. The girl who discovered the body uses some information about the incident to blackmail her way into the school.
There aren't really any "good guys" here, and the story is fairly tight, but I don't like the editing. They tend to tease an event in one episode, then only give you the full picture in the next - which, to me, feels like they're stretching the runtime a bit.
Another small hurdle was recognizing the cast. Aside from the female lead and Yeri, I didn't know any of the new faces. But after a few episodes, I ended up recognizing all of them.
The pity is, although the female lead's acting is decent, her visuals are just... very average. I remember she used to only get small supporting roles, and now she's leading. As for Yeri, this was my first time seeing her act - she's passable, but I kept getting distracted by her lips because they're so pouty.

Loved it very much. It instantly hooked me with its amazing story, powerful acting, and nonstop thrill. The plot is sharp, mixing mystery, high school politics, and social class conflict in a bold way. I loved how fearless and smart the lead character was, and every episode kept me on edge. The suspense, the twists, and the intense atmosphere made it a gripping watch from start to finish. It's short but leaves a lasting impact - definitely one of the most gripping teen thrillers I've seen in a while. The characters are interesting too and one can feel the emotions of these characters. Highly recommended!
I'd easily rate this series a 7/10. The premise is solid, the screenplay is decent, and the acting is okay, although some scenes felt unnatural. What I really liked was the story flow. Unlike many Korean dramas that drag on with episodes that have a meandering plot and where the story doesn't progress at all, this show keeps moving without wasting time. That's the main positive point for me.
Now for the negatives: 1. The main character's decisions are unrealistic. The MC knows she's a prime target for bullying but keeps making obviously poor choices just to push the plot towards more bullying. The MC is supposed to be smart and critical character right? Yet they make MC keep making dumb decisions that make her an easy target.
2. Please, Korea, stop romanticizing unrealistic, awkward scenes. Episode 6 was super annoying when the MC jumps from a high floor, and a guy comes out of nowhere to catch her, then, they land face-to-face, staring into each other's eyes. Come on 🤣 we know this never happens in real life. It's 2024, but Korea is still stuck with 80s-style heroic scenes.
3. The last and most annoying point: it feels like this show ran out of budget midway 😂. In episodes 9-10, SMALL mysteries start getting resolved with one plot twist after another, which is interesting. But then the show just ends just like that. JUST LIKE THAT. You don't need a sequel to resolve the remaining mysteries; you just need 1-2 more episodes and the show would wrap up smoothly. That's it. Watching the whole series felt like a waste of time. The plot moves fast without wasting time, yep, but watching the entire series feels like a waste. After all the episodes, you get no resolution to the main mystery. So, don't waste your time watching this show.
