Rodrigo Guerra and Edna Costa in Canibais e Solidão (2006)

Trivia

Canibais e Solidão

Edit
One of the original main actors left the project before finishing his scenes and when the film was almost completed. Actor Fábio Prina Da Silva joined the cast to replace him, and almost 70% of the scenes had to be re-shot with the new actor.
Filmmaker Felipe M. Guerra conceived the project as a quick and easy romantic comedy to shoot while he was planning other projects. But because of the exchange of actors and the need to re-shot many scenes, the production took almost three years.
In several scenes, Marcelo claims to be a big fan of Marcia Ferro, a cult actress of Brazilian "Boca do Lixo" who starred in several 80's pornographic movies, even having sex with horses.
About 300 empty beer bottles were "borrowed" from a nightclub after a busy weekend for the scene where the three friends wake up drunk and discover countless empty bottles around the house. Each bottle was washed prior to filming, to eliminate remnants of liquor, cigarettes and spit.
Between shoots and re-shoots, Rodrigo Guerra took more than 20 slaps of Niandra Sartori, all real.
