Welcome to Tuffleberry, an unremarkable English village with a simple claim to fame; its prestigious pumpkin and squash growing competition. Hosted at the annual harvest festival, the reigning champion; Barry Morgan, has taken home the top prize every year for a decade. However, his rivals suspect foul play after their own entries spontaneously spoil over the preceding weeks. Led by the slightly neurotic Julie, they form CHIAD (the Committee for Horticultural Investigation and Allotment Defence) to bring him to justice once and for all.
