Oddly entertaining. It's a great way of picking up on tv progs you've missed. It's also great to see what to avoid. Sooo glad I missed Mariah Carey's Christmas special. Has anyone totted up how much each household pays for all these subscriptions?
The gogglers reactions can be a bit OTT, which is quite annoying. Curious biscuit and cake displays or amazing novelty mugs that I wouldn't give cupboard room too.

I shouldn't really like this, I mean a tv program about people watching tv? But it's so addictive and I've really become very fond of my families, they are so funny and at times laugh out loud funny. Me and my husband talk daft like some of them, might start drinking wine too.

Gogglebox is one of my favorite shows it makes me laugh or cry its not like one of those terrible reaction shows its real peoples reactions so you know that its not staged plus most of the people on there are utterly hilarious especially Jenny and Lee are the most adorable/funny duo you will ever see. Also the Malones are a very emotional/funny family and the food they put out just makes you hungry lol.
Mary and Giles are a lovely old fashioned couple, Mary is very emotional and Giles has the best sense of humor ever!!!!!!!

I don't live in the UK anymore and this show is perfect for catching up on politics, TV shows, game shows, reality shows and anything going on in the UK.
The first seasons were finding themselves but now they settled in I really find it funny and entertaining.
I've discovered many great series just by watching Gogglebox

Me and my wife have been addicted to this since it began in 2013. We've lost some of our favourites such as the late Leon and June, whilst gaining more along the way such as hilarious Brother and Sister duo, Pete and Sophie. Lee and Jenny will always be our absolute favourites.
Easy to watch, warming and fun! What more could you want for an hour every Friday? Love it. May it never end.

Jenny and Lee are hilarious probably one of my favorites Mary and Giles crease me up!! They have obviously been together for a long time but their relationship is hilarious.
Brother and sister, Sophie and Pete are also one of our favorites they are so funny. Pete themes like a natural comedian.
Stephen and Daniel are also one of our favourite couples they are naturally funny.
Tremaine Twain and tristian are amazing too.
Absolutely love the Siddiqui family!

I don't really watch TV anymore so this is an awesome way to learn about what people are watching nowadays. Not to mention some cast members always make amusing comments and relatable reactions to the shows they are watching. Sometimes you can also tell there's a genuine bond between the couples/families which is lovely to watch. I don't always agree with the views of the cast members but it's nice to see different perspectives and realise how we are all part of a diverse society.

On paper is sounds good or somewhat interesting as a person who loves talking about tv shows however this is the most cringyworthy tv show in the world maybe even the most cringworth thing ever created the people on it are extremely annoying the narrator is so annoying it winds me up even the music is annoyingly cringey it's a cringe fest
It is quite funny yet calming. Best combination for watching a series.
I was late to the party with this one, having only watched the most recent two series, but so glad I got there eventually!
So so funny and a reflection of what goes on in a real family home. So many comments sou d just like my house. Great show keep it up

Take a number of, probably very nice people, but just so boring. Let them watch telly programs and comment on them, unfortunately the comments are so insipid and uninspiring it is hard to watch. It is a sad indictment of our Twitter/Facebook age where non-entities can become TV gods and celebs despite a total lack of charisma or intelligence or talent of any kind. In our constantly on-line age this is what passes for entertainment and that is just sad. Do not just switch on to get company or discussion find some real friends to talk to and switch of this dross.
Really enjoy the show but can't understand what Scottish couple brings to the show and this is coming from a Scottish person surely in our nation there's a more relating or humorous family rather than quite clearly a couple who have came from a family with money. Yes I understand there is always going to be an issue with the rest of the uk understanding what a lot of the Scottish people are saying and obviously agree that the show had to have some representation from our beautiful country but surely you can find a worthwhile couple or family that would be better represented by the show and Scotland rather than the quite obviously wealthy young couple that we currently view.

Having binge watched every episode, except seasons 1 to 5 inclusive, we find ourselves mourning the loss of the families wit and compassion to our fellow people of the arts etc. Fantastic work Channel 4.

The show is about people who watch TV and give the most clearly scripted comments. When I, and everyone else I know, watch TV I don't talk the whole way though a show or scream at what is being shown on screen. The people are clearly being told how to react and

Gogglebox is a show on Channel 4 from Studio Lambert that has lasted 8 years as of writing.
It's premise is... peeps sit on their duffs and watch TV while praising/ranting/swearing/whining about what they have to watch. That's it. What's the entertainment value in that? Couldn't you just do the same thing on the internet? Whatever. I know well the cast members are well loved, and I see that, but they truly can be unlikeable at times. Their reactions feel heavily scripted, like they're forced to say things, too.
Overall, Gogglebox is boring, repetitive, and overall still there in our lives. If you like it, that's fine.

Finding something to binge can be quite difficult these days. I told myself I would give the show a shot, after all, people reacting to the absurdity on TV, who wouldn't like it?
I got through one, and I take pride in that accomplishment. It was painful. Incredibly so. I'm sure it got better by the 20th season or whatever, and it's much improved now, but the sour taste the people from the first episode left in my mouth will take a few days to leave.
Skip this show unless you like watching drummed up schlock, though you'll get more entertainment from Storage Wars or Ancient Aliens.

This is a Channel 4 series in which we watch people as they watch television in their own homes in various places in the UK during the previous week.
This is a good idea, which could work like a real version of The Royle Family. However, it has little of that sitcom's humour, and isn't entertaining most of the time - because most of the participants don't say much that's worth saying.
