Luca's Resilience

There are so many stories about divorced people as seen through their eyes, but seldom through the eyes of a child. This story is told by Luca, not so much with words but with his acting. The brilliance of this short movie is that as a viewer you are completely choosing the side of the child in the beginning, but later you realize that looking at the world through the eyes of a child also means making wrong conclusions based on fear, anxiety and prejudice, and that it is - as always - the important task of the parents to show their unconditional love, no matter what.

When 5 strangers meet on a set, and this is the end result of the movie, then you know that there was a visionary director involved, who saw to it that the actors felt comfortable with eachother and who created the circumstances under which they truly felt like family and therefore acted as one!
