Charity begins at home is a sentiment Roxanne Robinson soon comes to regret when her teenage daughter goes missing and suspicion falls on her new neighbors who have been rehomed in the garden of Roxanne's perfect family home.

Roxanne, Mark, and Macie Robinson live in a fancy house in a fancy, rich neighborhood. Ella and Lucy Willis need to move and end up being neighbors to the Robinsons who live in their backyard because Mark volunteers for Tiny House, a charity housing project. The mothers don&#39;t get along, though. Roxanne tries to welcome Ella and her daughter to the neighborhood and Macie seems to bond with Ella over liking the same band. But things go from bad to worse between Roxanne and Ella when she is presented a list of guidelines for living in a Tiny House. Roxanne then tries to redecorate the house while Ella&#39;s out on a job interview! This only scratches the surface for a pretty good thriller and I recommend it. The acting is OK but the plot has lots of twists and turns!

Danger Lurking Under My Roof

Danger lurking or living in danger is a 2023 made for tv thriller film. We have this woman called roxanne.she lives with daughter macie. Who had the better acting of this film in my opinion and husband mark. Mark has a program to rehome people less fortunate as they themselves live in a mansion that looks un used and they probably dont need. Ella and lucy move in and they live in the garden of the house, they have a secret though and its not long before roxanne who is stuck up for no reason has to help the other lady after their daughters are kindapped. Predicatle in the plot, acting not great but this one atleast did have a pretty good plot.

This one had a somewhat credible plot line and some very decent acting. But what kept it from a higher rating is the same basic frustration: They take too long to get to the ending (in this case, a very good one with a nice twist). There&#39;s so much filler in here, starting with the bf. He served no purpose to the plot, so why include him? Then the ending pops up unexpectedly and there&#39;s the loose end, or missing context. For example, I would have loved to see the convo between the 2 moms when they reconciled. I would have loved to see Mark begging his fam not to dump him. This ending was worth a lot more than the 4 minutes it got.

On the surface, the Tiny House Project is an example of altruistic outreach with the goal of providing homes for the disenfranchised. It is apparently the brainchild of the entrepreneur Mark Robinson. But appearances may be deceiving in this well-crafted thriller. The strength of the film was in the shape-shifting characters who do not appear at all as they seem at first glance. As the film progresses, secrets are revealed about the reality buried beneath the surface. Ella Willis and her daughter Lucy move into a beautiful rambler home courtesy of Mark Robinson&#39;s Tiny House Project. But Ella is sullen and mean-spirited, as well as ungrateful for the opportunity to get out of a greasy motel. Eventually, however, we learn that Ella paid a &quot;premium&quot; for the new living accommodations, and her benefactor Mark has a lot of explaining to do. There are multiple layers as well to the neighbor Sasha, especially when we see her burning some trash. She is hiding secrets from her neighbor Roxanne, whose daughter Macie has concealed the identity of her boyfriend from her mom. In turn, the boyfriend Ryan is also a chameleon whose disrespect for Macie is truly appalling. The film&#39;s ending sequence was imaginative in the melodramatic revelations about Mark and his business associate John Carter. There was also a 180-degree pivot of Ella from a grumpy tenant into a model citizen. There are such drastic character reversals that the actors deserve much credit for making the transformations believable. In the end, the Tiny House Project, which appeared to be a disaster, has a transformation of its own and surprisingly becomes a roaring success!
