I enjoyed this sweet, short film because both actors played their parts expertly. It's a film that touches upon various aspects of human experience and approaches each one with subtlety and gentle exploration.

After watching the film I wanted to learn more about Artemis Bell because I found her acting style to be so spot on in this film. I learned that she is also in a second film called , "Obsession", which I will make it a point to see. I'm writing this because I must have a minimal amount of characters used on this site or they will not accept my review because it is too short. Twelve to go done!

I suppose, the performance of Artemis Bell represents the main virtue offered by this lovely short film. She is perfect as Meredith , and offers a fair, precise, moving portrait of a humanity who seems, so often, lost in near reality, composed by sensitivity, generosity, old traumas, feeling of love and looking for family spirit.

A housekeeper and a fisherman , their relation based by a stolen bike and leaning of fishing and a simple story about dedication and discover of sense of life.

The cinematography proposses few scenes just beautiful in profound sense.

And the revelation of identity of presumed brother , not so surprising, becomes useful detail.

The good point, maybe the chemistry between. Marc Fajardo and Artemis Bell. And, no doubts, the splendid crafted new perspective about romance.
