Don't go on the negative reviews. The show starts off very mysterious & takes quite long to build up background character.
Plot lines are slowly slipped in which makes it even more nail biting.
The twists are quite good. You'd anticipate 1 thing, but something else only comes up.
The acting & background drama is also worth it. Throws a lot of light on the functionality of characters.
Cinematography & directing is also very dramatic. Creates a lot of suspence.
Episode intos throw a bit of light on background of the main character, highlighting his own characteristics.
Very well written. Acting is also amazing. Worth a watch!

Generally am pretty lazy to write feedbacks/ reviews but when I saw folks rating this series as low as 1 felt its unfair for the viewers who deserves to watch this intriguing and touching human drama of realistic emotions and suspense. Pls note you will not be able to predict the outcome and mystery until last few mins so pls watch it. Agree it slow at times and not fancy and nonsense like Abbas Mastan movies but who cares when you get to see great acting skills and an original writing. Very tight direction great dialogues and camerawork. This work is far better than recent pathetic movies getting aired with big names like Khans and Kapoors. Thank GOD we have OTT contents for viewers like us. Well done Netflix. I could have rated 8/ 9 but coz of its slow running pace will stick to 7.
Kohrra blew my breath away. Still thinking of the actors and the story and the setting and everything in the middle. Suvinder Vicky and Barun Sobti have delivered performances of their lifetime in Kohrra.
The sheer mental agony that a cop goes through in solving a complex murder case while dealing with his own personal demons has been shown in a raw and emotionally charged manner - you can't help but want to feel protective about him and root for him till the end.
The portrayal of Punjab's dark underbelly is eerily real - the twists, the messed up romance, the dark humour keep you gripped till the very end.

An otherwise good production spoilt by the over violent police.
The police would always hit a suspect during questioning in every scene, violating a suspects human rights.
It put me off finishing this production.
Is police brutality normal in India?
Why is the show getting such high ratings despite the police brutality?
I don't understand why the producers would glorify this in this mini series.
Why is Netflix casting such a show that normalizes such violation of human rights?
Any how the story line was good, acting was good but the violence from the law enforcement has put me off from finishing the series.

The best thing is the honest and accurate portrayal of Punjab, its culture and language. Though people don't use that much foul language, that's typical of any Netflix series based out of India. Still, the characters are local, and the shots are scenes in authentic villages. The story is OK but could have been improved. Other small personal stories of characters are neither related to the ongoing investigation nor are they much captivating-however, outstanding performances from all the cast members. Despite the average story, I would give eight stars for the originality shown. Small actions or scenes make you believe that characters are local and authentic.
