A great way to relive a month or two in your life which were all about this beautiful game. And I am not from Argentina.
Great piece of art to repaint some of the greatest moments in any sports in history, let alone football. The documentary could have been longer, but then they wanted to be crisp and had so much to include.
Well edited. Imagine all these amazing shots going to waste had Argentina not won the World Cup. It would have been France's story and we would have lost the twist of Saudi's game and the Netherlands one. The goal against Mexico, the moment would have been lost forever.
And it also captures the genius of Dibu.

I started counting every time I get tears in my eyes, the end result was 3. This was very emotional... I felt that I'm really in that team, watching how much Messi suffered during his international career was heartbreaking...
Messi winning the World Cup was one of the happiest moments of my life... Watching how much this team was giving just to make it happen for 50 million Argentines people, for themselves and much more for Messi was really heartwarming.
I'm happy to witness Messi since his start at Barcelona when I was a little boy and seeing him becoming the world champion as a grown man, nothing changed, I'm still enjoying every single minute he plays.
Thanks Apple for this and this is the first time ever I write a review on a documentary, a movie or whatever, and it has to be a documentary about Messi becoming the best player ever touched football. Minimum 10 out of 10.

Oh Messi you are way more than that!
Outstanding documentary, having seen all the matches and clips of every single match, it still hits differently, great editing and background music, very well put!
The sequence, flashbacks made a great story for anyone who needed a hispry lesson, to show how this world cup was monumental in Messi's career, although he was and will always be the greatest who ever touched a football, we all wanted to see him a world champion!
From someone who grow up watching Messi kicks the ball, Thank you Leo for all the memories, you winning the world cup was the greatest thing i have ever witnessed.

The Messi documentary stands out as the pinnacle of documentary series ever created for him, flawlessly guiding viewers through his journey. While it captures the essence of his career, there are a few aspects I wish were included. Specifically, glimpses into the World Cup qualifiers for Russia 2018, coverage of the victorious 2021 Copa America, and deeper insights into the celebrations in the capital on 12/18/2022. Nonetheless, it remains a sensational and profoundly inspiring documentary experience. Messi is arguably the greatest story of overcoming adversity in a sportsman and undoubtedly the most talented and greatest player of all time. A part of football will die when he leaves the pitch.
Starts off kinda slow...but it gets back on track almost immediately...and as soon as it's on track...it's unstoppable...
the pacing is good...the one on one interviews were great well done engaging and just very well suited...
the choice to include journalists and reporters is quite frankly ingenious...it makes the show...their input feels more like commentary than interviews...it's fantastic...
i remember watching the Real Madrid champions league documentary...and thinking it probably came too soon...with this it didn't feel the same...i was glued to the screen the whole time...i enjoyed every bit of it...yes i can still remember every game every goal...so there's nothing novel really...but it's still a great watch...i don't know if the writing or production is superior...probably suggests so...
it really draws you in...not too preachy...it can be enjoyed by both Football fans and non fans also known as Americans...it's for everyone...
great watch.
