A spin-off of Pretty Little Liars (2010). The backdoor pilot was season 4 episode Grave New World (2013).
On February 14, 2014, it was announced that Ravenswood was canceled due to low ratings after only one season.
Many of the episodes were shot on location in New Orleans, LA
Ravenswood is also a town they talk about in Pretty Little Liars (2010) which Tyler Blackburn co-starred in.
Elizabeth Whitson was originally cast as Olivia Matheson and appeared in the backdoor pilot Grave New World (2013). Before the filming of this series, the character was re-conceived and Whitson was replaced by Merritt Patterson, who had originally been cast as Tess Hamilton.
